The most myopic and deranged religious freaks are the ones who will swear most loudly at you that they're too smart for religion. Ironically, they lack the intelligence to realize the irony of their most religiously held position. For my part, I'm thankful Woo-Hoo Flu mania has been put behind us for the latest media-sponsored fear and hate-fest. I can't believe they dragged out that scamdemic scare for nearly two years -- and now it's like it never happened! Crazy how they can get away with that, but fine by me.
And so the religious Disciples of TV Doctor Science are now giddy-stupid worshippers of TV Statesman Democracy. At least no one is trying to talk me into getting a potentially heart-inflaming/stroke-inducing clot shot of Super Science Mystery Juice anymore. I'll take whatever breaks are available in this mad, doomed world.
